What is Emergency Medicine?
Emergency Medicine focuses on providing urgent care within emergency departments to people who have sudden or severe illnesses or injuries. Our emergency doctors and nurses are specialized in providing rapid assessment and treatment for patients arriving at the emergency department with conditions including heart attacks, broken bones, severe allergic reactions, or accidents. Their goal is to stabilize, relieve pain, and provide life-saving treatments when needed.

Our Emergency Medicine teams across all of our Health System emergency departments are made up of highly trained emergency physicians, specialists and nurses to provide comprehensive emergency care.
