Dr. Ibrar Majid is a fellowship-trained pediatric trauma and orthopedic surgeon and the inaugural Chair of Pediatrics at Dubai Health. He completed his medical training at the University of London, with surgical training in the UK and the USA, and earned certifications in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Healthcare Leadership. He holds a master’s in Orthopedic Engineering and a diploma in Healthcare Leadership and Management. Dr. Majid is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and serves as Treasurer of the Middle East Pediatric Orthopedic Society.

With extensive leadership experience, Dr. Majid previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital in Dubai and Clinical Lead for Major Trauma Services at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in the UK. He was also Chairman of the Board of Trustees for a multinational healthcare NGO.

Driven by a deep commitment to ensuring every child receives high-quality, compassionate care, Dr. Majid works with his team to help children reach their full potential, and live a rich and fulfilling childhood. As a parent, he finds immense joy in seeing children recover and return to good health. He is honored to lead the Pediatrics at Dubai Health, aiming to develop a world-class pediatric healthcare system that serves children in Dubai, the UAE, and beyond.
