Named in honor of the late Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the hospital, part of Dubai Health, will offer world-class outpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic, inpatient, and surgical services upon its completion, all within a caring environment that places personalized patient care at its heart, with the capacity to treat 30,000 patients each year.
Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health, is investing AED 1.2 billion with the support of donors, to build the first comprehensive cancer hospital in the UAE, which will serve as a center of excellence for cancer treatment and research for the region.
