Emergency Medicine focuses on providing urgent care within emergency departments to people who have sudden or severe illnesses or injuries. Medical Microbiology involves the study of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites that can cause infections in humans. Our microbiologists work to identify the microorganisms making you feel unwell, in order to determine the most effective course of treatment.
