What is Surgical Critical Care?

Surgical Critical Care is a specialty within Dubai Health's Critical Care Units. Our Critical Care doctors (intensivists) provide highly specialized medical treatment and management for people who are recovering from major or complex surgery, or traumatic injuries, and need close monitoring and support.

Intensive care and treatment

You are in expert hands with our Surgical Critical Care specialists who have extensive experience in the treatment and management of patients recovering from major surgery, or have sustained life-threatening injuries, and require life-supporting care and monitoring. As part of our integrated approach to your health, our Surgical Critical Care doctors work closely with physicians from many other specialties within the Dubai Health Health System, to provide the most effective, safe and well-informed treatment, as well as compassionate, patient-first recovery support.
