About Blood Donation Center Giving blood is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to make a difference in someone's life. Each blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, providing healing and, in some cases, the gift of life, to people of all ages facing surgeries, recovering from trauma, requiring blood transfusions, or experiencing serious health conditions like cancer. Donating blood is safe, quick and easy, and it’s an expression of kindness and community spirit that can have an incredible impact on someone in need. The Blood Donation Center, part of the Dubai Health network, has been Dubai’s primary blood donation center since opening in 1986. Accredited by AABB since 2012, we prioritize donor and patient safety, and service excellence. At our center, we provide a comfortable space for you to give blood, allowing you to contribute to maintaining a safe and ample blood supply for those in medical need. Through your support, we contribute approximately 50% of all of the UAE’s blood units, ensuring there is a continuous supply of safe, life-saving blood. You can donate your blood at our center in Al Jaddaf, or at one of our mobile blood donation drives which visit many workplaces and communities throughout the emirate.
